What do we provide?

Personal care

At Domiciliary Care Experts, we understand that personal care is often one of the most sensitive subjects to approach when receiving care; this is why we ensure all our care is given specific to an individual’s needs and preferences. Our caregivers receive excellent training and pride themselves on the way they provide personal care ensuring dignity and respect is maintained at all times. Our person-centred care plans give our staff the information they require to carry out tasks exactly how the client would like. The minimum visit time is 30 mins and anything from that up to full live-in care. Respite care is temporary care that is planned as a one-off or as regular visits. This may be arranged to cover a permanent caregiver’s time off or simply extra support as and when you or your family caregiver needs it.

At DCE, no care need is too challenging.

We can assist in the following areas of domiciliary care;

Household chores; dusting, vacuuming and laundry

Preparing meals and washing the dishes

Personal care; bathing and dressing

Administering medication or providing regular reminders

Grocery Shopping

Accompanying to hospital appointments

Continence care

Alzheimer's + Dementia

We are proud to say that all our carers are also Dementia champions. This is why at Domiciliary Care Experts we understand how living with dementia or caring for a loved one who is, can really change your life. We understand the highs and lows and believe everyone should have someone who they can turn to. That someone could be us.

We can help with the simple everyday tasks or provide short term or long term respite for the individuals and their families. Our care assistants always have support from the management team and report any changes in service users needs quickly. Enabling care plans to be updated rapidly and efficiently. Ensuring person centered care is maintained at all times.

Cancer Care

Many cancer patients need the love of their family and friends which is why many of them choose to receive care in their own home.

End of Life Care

Here at Domiciliary Care Experts we know that end of life/palliative care is one of the most important stages of someones life. At this time everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity should always be maintained.

Our care assistants receive specialist end of life training and always remain polite and empathetic whilst understanding how difficult this time is for both service users and their families.

The services we offer can range from half hour check calls right up to 24 hour care. All of our staff are aware of the implications of a "my wishes statement" that may be in place and are aware that even if the service user can no longer communicate these verbally, they must be adhered to.

Live-in Care

At Domilicary Care Experts we understand there is never an easy time to decide whether to leave your home or not, that is why we are happy to provide a live in service tailored to an individuals needs. Our live-in care service is an extremely viable alternative to a care home as we offer one to one care ensuring the service user can remain living in their familiar surroundings. We always introduce our live in carers prior to them starting an assignment and aim to match the carers with the service user based on their preferances as well as needs.

Specialist training will be provided if required as well as full time live-in care we can provide sleep in or waking nights if required.
