Personal care - At Domiciliary Care Experts, we understand that personal care is often one of the most sensitive subjects to approach when receiving care; this is why we ensure all our care is given specific to an individual’s needs and preferences. Our care givers receive excellent training and pride themselves on the way they provide personal care ensuring dignity and respect is maintained at all times. Our person centred care plans gives our staff the information they require to carry out tasks exactly how the client would like. The minimum visit time is 30 mins and anything from that up to full live in care. Respite care is temporary care that is planned as one-off or regular visits. This may be arranged to cover a permanent care giver’s time off or simply extra support as and when you or your family care giver need it. We can assist in the following areas of personal care:

  • Bathing and Showering

  • Toileting Assistance

  • Continence Care

  • Personal Grooming

  • Oral Hygiene

At DCE, no care need is too challenging.

Alzheimer's + Dementia - We are proud to say that all our carers are also Dementia champions. Our care assistants receive specialist end of life training and always remain polite and empathetic whilst understanding how difficult this time is for both service users and their families.

The services we offer can range from half hour check calls right up to 24 hour care. All of our staff are aware of the implications of a "my wishes statement" that may be in place and are aware that even if the service user can no longer communicate these verbally, they must be adhered to.
